Mary Elenore Kittrell Hobbs, age 88, died peacefully August 6, 2017. She was a beloved and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to everyone. Proceeded in death by her mother, Nealy Carter Kittrell and father, Howard Isom Kittrell, sister Willie Flatt Hensley, brother Howard Eugene Kittrell.
She is survived by sons Mike (Judy) Hobbs, Joe (Elizabeth) Hobbs, Ronnie (Sandy) Hobbs and John C. Hobbs. Grand children, Mike Hobbs II, Kelly (Ryan) Hobbs, Mark Hobbs, Barrett (Tammy) Hobbs, Nealy Hobbs, Missy (Bobby) Ciccolella, Alison (Todd) Dodson, Kristen Hobbs and Landon Hobbs.

She is survived by sons Mike (Judy) Hobbs, Joe (Elizabeth) Hobbs, Ronnie (Sandy) Hobbs and John C. Hobbs. Grand children, Mike Hobbs II, Kelly (Ryan) Hobbs, Mark Hobbs, Barrett (Tammy) Hobbs, Nealy Hobbs, Missy (Bobby) Ciccolella, Alison (Todd) Dodson, Kristen Hobbs and Landon Hobbs.
Mary was a very humble, caring and dedicated Christian. She loved doing small acts of kindness for family, friends and strangers as well. She was a volunteer with several charities and church organizations.
Service will be 1 pm Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with The Rev Phillip Halladay officiating. Visitation with family Wednesday from 4 pm till 8 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Interment to be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Mike Hobbs II, Mark Hobbs, Barrett Hobbs, Landon Hobbs, Bob Ciccolella and Todd Dodson serving as pallbearers. Dennis Edelen , Jerry Liddle and Hill Snyder Jr will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice, Alzheimer's association is Sisters of Mercy Covenant.Arrangements under the direction of Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, Old Hickory, TN.
