Margaret Ann Jensen Adams, went peacefully to her rest on Monday, October 10, 2016, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She was born in Ute, Iowa, July 18, 1925, to Henry Bernhard Jensen and Edna Mae Jensen. She had a fraternal twin sister, Marjorie Ruth, who died at the age of 15 with complications to diabetes.

She attended Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa graduating in 1943. She went on to Madison College in Madison, Tennessee, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1947. She married Willis E. Adams, a painter and finish wood-crafter,...

Margaret Ann Jensen Adams, went peacefully to her rest on Monday, October 10, 2016, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She was born in Ute, Iowa, July 18, 1925, to Henry Bernhard Jensen and Edna Mae Jensen. She had a fraternal twin sister, Marjorie Ruth, who died at the age of 15 with complications to diabetes.

She attended Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa graduating in 1943. She went on to Madison College in Madison, Tennessee, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1947. She married Willis E. Adams, a painter and finish wood-crafter, on December 23, 1947 in their residing town of Nevada, Iowa. She worked all her life to the betterment and good of people through private-duty and shift-duty in the local hospital, continuing as Director of Nursing in two establishments, one in Nevada, Iowa, and retired from Imperial Manor in Madison, Tennessee in 1987.

She is survived by two sons, Stan and his wife Charlotte, of Rocklin, California, Bruce of Long Beach, California; her sister, Naomi, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis, one sister and three brothers.

Her life will be celebrated by a host of friends; she was a gift for 91 years and will always be remembered with grace and dignity.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home.

A private burial will be conducted at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Margaret Ann Adams.
